Here are some of the more common questions we are asked at the library.

Q: Where is the printer, and how do I print?

A: The printer is located on the bottom floor of the library, underneath the stairs.  To print, you:

     1) Click the printer icon on the top of the screen, or click "print" under the file menu.

     2) A little screen will pop up asking for a release key--- you will then enter in a temporary password

which you will use to retrieve the document later.  You should avoid using "123" or "abc"

for your release key as a lot of other

         students will use them.

     3) To the right of the printer there is a computer.  You will enter in the release key you

have chosen, and then the file you have chosen to print will appear.

     4) You will see how many pages your document is.  The cost for printing is $0.10 per page.

The machine takes change as well as $1 and $5 dollar bills and will give you change.  For

printing you insert your money into the change machine on the right (the one on the left is

for making copies.)  After inserting your money, click on the document's name, then click print.

Q: Where are the restrooms?

A: The restrooms are located on the top floor of the library, in the hallway behind the reference desk.

Q: How do I get an e-mail address?

A: You can find the student e-mail applications at the circulation desk--  just ask the staff

for one.  Fill out both sides of the application and turn in it to one of the staff.  It takes up to

three days for the applications to be processed.  After three days, stop by the library and we will

give you a sheet of paper with all of your login info.

Q:  How do I access the library catalog?

A:  The link to the library catalog is located on our home page (www.lwtclearningcommons.com) on the

right hand side under the list that contains our databases.  On the next screen, click on "LWTC LIBRARY"

and you will be in the catalog.
